Position: Metadata Analyst

Location: REMOTE (Chicago, IL)

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

1. Works with data modelers, report designers, and business to collect business metadata (term names and definitions) for new development work.
2. Works with business and systems experts to document business metadata for previously completed development work.
3. Populates and maintains business metadata in the data Catalog.
4. Maps business metadata to technical metadata in the data Catalog.

Skills and behaviours:

1. Experience with data Catalog (Collibra preferred but other OK)
2. Self-starter works well independently.
3. Organized with excellent attention to detail.
4. Collaborative and works well across multiple teams
